"Hail Mars"

“Hail Mars” is Fatty’s most recent offering on canvass.  This is the 3rd installment of the series “The Grahas”, Fatty’s astrological art exploration and meditation.

Mars manifests himself as pure desire and the willingness to fight and even die for our beliefs.  He is the commander of the military and martial force of the heavens.  Male sexual potency and energy are also manifestations of Mars’ influence.  His fierce, fiery energy is strong, but also compassionate.  When Mars’ energies are not properly expressed, anger and confrontation with enemies are often the result.

The Talisman is a meditation on the topic of employment and co-workers.  This can be used for employers looking to find and keep beneficial staff as well as for use in finding fulfilling work and prosperous employment. 

For best results, meditate on your employment goals for at least 5 minutes daily while facing “The Talisman”. “The Talisman” is most effective if placed facing east (the practitioner faces west) while seeking employment or employees.  Once the beneficial effects of this meditation have been realized, The Talisman should be placed facing south (the practitioner facing north) to sustain the beneficial results.

Rahu is one of the 2 elements of chaos in Vedic Astrology, being the counterpart of Ketu.  Rahu  comes to life at birth at the North Node of the Moon.  It is at this intersection between the Sun (soul) and Moon (mind) that in one’s astrological chart that breeds the chaotic energy of Rahu.

Rahu is an outcast of the kingdom, the rebel who resents authority.  He is considered to be a “shadow” planet, unseen by the naked eye.  Rahu takes an aggressive, destructive role as the outcast, often acting maliciously and deceptively.  Rahu’s appetite for carnal desires and negativity are unquenchable; everything he consumes just falls out of his headless body.  At his core, Rahu is a spiritual creature who has the power to brake conventional barriers.

Limbo is the place where souls go between lives when that soul has too much unresolved energy with a previous life.  This prevents the individual from moving on into the process of re incarnation.  You will notice that the tortured man is attached by his spine to a dark mountain that embodies pain, grief, remorse and suffering.  The glowing green orb in front of the lost soul is its meditation.  The lost soul can only move on from Limbo once that meditation has been processed.  As the lost soul meditates and is able to let go of its mountain of suffering
